Over-hopped and over here?

There's never been a better time to drink American craft beer in the UK than next week.  The Beer San Frontieres bar at the Great British Beer Festival, form Tuesday to Saturday, is bigger than it's ever been and received some good coverage in the Independent recently.

And this Friday, 6th August, The White Horse at Parsons Green is hosting the American craft brewers for an evening with an amazing range of beers.  The list is below.  Break out the milk thistle.

Pete, might I be as bold to point out similar events happening in both leeds and huddersfield - more info in this post - - Good US beer does get north of Watford, you know!!

Nice lineup. Several are local beers to me. Hope they are fresh.

Excellent line-up there, the Imperial and strong stouts in particular. Tenfidy's Imperial Stout is as good as Courage's Russian Imperial Stout was, maybe better. The London cognoscenti are in for a treat.

In many ways, most of those beers are returning to England tastes and ABV levels not seen for generations there.

I think the craft/real ale fans in London will be hugely impressed by these beers.

Southern Tier's 2xipa is actually 8.3% ABV.

Oh wow, I'm so there! I guess it's not too late to try the Great Divide anniversary beer after all.
